KAINOS
PROJECT
Kainos Project exist to explore, innovate, and invest in Korean American Ministry
WHO WE ARE
-
KAINOS:
In Greek, Kainos means 'new in kind and in contrast to what previously existed, so taking the place thereof'.
The Kainos Project is exactly that; we exist to provide new methods and approaches to the Korean American Ministry so that we can all be Gods Kingdom builders and difference makers.
The Kainos Project does not seek to replace Korean American Ministries, but rather to help your churches by providing essential resources and support to turn your God given visions and dreams into reality.
We offer a number of resources and programs that we believe will help enhance your church and ministry, whether you are a pastor or lay leader.
Our Projects
-
KAINOS:online is a service for our Korean American English Speaking congregations who have no English Speaking Pastors to receive meaningful, contextual worship and community experiences. We group churches into geographic regions and create online worships that meet the style and needs of each region. There are also Region Directors to help coordinate in-person events.
-
KAINOS:sahmyook is a collaboration with the Sahmyook School of Theology in South Korea. To help mitigate the issue of a lack of English speaking Pastors in America, we have created a special track in partnership with Sahmyook University to help train and equip theology students who are interested in pursuing ministry in America
-
Art of Worship is to help equip and train worship leaders at our churches. AOW Alpha is our introductory program to help teach basic praise and worship skills to new worship leaders.
AOW SoCal is our advanced program to help equip existing praise teams with more coaching and training to help develop the future praise leaders of our churches.
-
We want to help our Korean American Pastors and equip them with the tools to continue meaningful ministry. The Mentorship program is an in-person retreat for our Pastors to experience rest, mentorship, and resources to enhance their ministry at their local churches.
